Climate scientists finally admit they are wrong

Image
in a unsurprising turn of events it appears that climate scientists have finally agreed that they were wrong about man made climate change and that their efforts to "fix" that wasnt broken has now actually caused the damage they was preaching about in the first place. in a  report  it turns out that chinas crackdown on air pollution is actually responsible for 80% of real climate change and temperature increase. so as we see the act in trying to combat climate change has actually caused climate change instead. where as if we carried on and ignored climate scientists we actually wouldnt have any issues at all.  It turns out getting rid of pollutants in the air and clearing the skies only opens up to more sun exposure, which then means more global temperature increases, which means more melting ice caps and escaping carbon from the ice. with no pollutants or smog to block the suns exposure no more we have essentially magnified and increased the heat of the earth by getting ...

Desperate Measures: Labour Lowers Voting Age to Cling to Power

Image
UK government as of today, 17th July 2025, have announced it is lowering the voting age so that 16 and 17 year olds can vote in the next general election. This radical change is said to potentially add another 1.5 million potential voters to the voting pool. young voters, fresh out of a institutional education system run by this government that have told them everything they know of the world. young people not knowing the world themselves but only knowing it by what the government educators have told them, with no experience of having lived and struggled in this world and its systems to understand what changes are bad for them or not, what higher tax and higher spending would mean to them. These young people, who only know what the government have told them through institutional education, can now legally vote. This move can be blatantly seen as a desperate government on the edge, knowing and seeing by polls which all show the current government will lose by a landslide and get barely ...

The UK’s 5% Defence Spending Target Is Just Another Box-Ticking Exercise

Image
The UK last month announced it has  comitted to 5% defence spending  by the year 2035 in the face of recent global threats and instability. A significant increase from previous 2% defence spending targets under previous nato guidelines. But is this worth it and is it really effective to measure your defence capability by how much of your GDP you spend? This is where I believe our nations defence issue highlights itself. This nation seems to measure anything by how much money is wasted on it. We could very well be spending a extra 2% of GDP on the military and yet still be struggling to mobilise 40,000 troops. A spending increase on the military is effectively a waste of money if you are not going to increase your manpower count. which currently sits in the 70k range, with most of that figure likely being civilian reserves with real jobs, not proffesional soldiers, and alot of that likely admin and technical staff.  With that in mind we see that our government is ov...

Cutting Green Taxes to Fund Growth — Has Labour Stolen Reform’s Playbook?

Image
In  recently announced  government policy, the UK is set to slash the energy bills of over 7000 UK companies in a bid to try spark some life into the economic growth of UK businesses and cut operating costs. Electricity costs for eligable businesses would be cut by up to 25% in the proposed plans set to launch from 2027, but who will pay for it and how will it be funded? The answer to that question is quite simple, it will be funded by reducing green levies on those select businesses and reducing carbon pricing. This seems to run contrary to the governments climate efforts and seems to appear they are just stealing Reform UKs ideas to slash the carbon taxes and climate charges. is this a admission that Reforms policies are infact cost effective after all and can provide inspiration on how to make up extra funding and investment? it appears so doesnt it? This marks a departure from the climate-first rhetoric the government has long championed, and arguable mirrors the ki...

Iran Bombed by USA – Will the UK Face Blowback?

Image
USA bombs iran Overnight, the United States launched airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear sites using B2 bombers. The goal: delay Iran’s nuclear ambitions. But could this move backfire — especially for the UK? The goal was clear, to set back irans nuclear programme and prevent them from obtaining nuclear weapons. but yet in my opinion the mission seemed a bit pointless, if iran is to obtain nuclear weapons they would do so easily no matter if their nuclear facilities were taken out. its very easy to see in this political climate that russia themselves could offer or give them nuclear weapons to stirr the pot if they so chose to. which to me is a possability due to Irans allignment with Russia and China and the fact America has sided against Iran. This puts Iran firmly on Russias side, and if they want nuclear weapons, Russia could at any time give them one if they decide to escalate things globally or take the attention off their "military operation" in Ukraine. Could Russia Arm Ir...
